WHY THIS BLOG?

After a good many years as a theatre director, writer and filmmaker creating projects about health and social issues, social injustice still worries me.

I see injustice all around me every day. I can’t do much about the wars that are happening. But I can highlight in this blog the things that really get to me and I hope will get to you, too.

We do not need violence and riots to makes changes. Destruction, in any form, never solved anything.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ~ Margaret Mead

The views expressed in this blog are based on my own thoughts. Thanks to those I have quoted and who have inspired me.

Just watched “Perversion of Justice”. Sometimes I feel there is a conspiracy to keep the underclass down (in considering all conspiracies one has to ask. who stands to gain? Not always obvious.) Would this injustice have been as grave had the victim been from a different ethnic origin? What about a decent lawyer to fight her case. Probably couldn’t afford one so had to rely on what the state had to offer.
